US Air Force musicians perform in Poland

A US Air Forces in Europe Band jazz ensemble opens a tour of Poland with a concert on Wednesday at an international conference to mark Earth Day.

The concert takes place at the Babia Góra National Park in southern Poland.
The group’s itinerary includes Kraków (20 April), Warsaw (21 April), Grudziądz (24 April) and Szczecin (26 April).
The concerts will include Broadway and Hollywood movie pieces to the sound of New Orleans Dixieland and Big Band jazz.
The tour is part of the US embassy’s 100 Years Together campaign, which celebrates the bonds that have united Poland and the United States over the last century.
The United States Air Forces in Europe Band is stationed at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
