The television series Terius Behind Me (Nae Dwie Teriwooseuk) is a mystery-romcom due for release in September.

According to Rzeczpospolita, its producer was attracted to Warsaw because of its tourism industry and infrastructure, as well as direct flights to Seoul serviced by Polish Airlines LOT.

Robert Andrzejczyk, the CEO of the Polish Tourism Organisation which helped convince the series' producer to shoot in Warsaw, said he wanted to attract film crews from South Korea because television series are extremely popular in that country.

"The presence of a production as prestigious as Terius Behind Me … will ensure we reach many millions of potential South Korean tourists and boost Poland's positive image," Andrzejczyk said.

Some 60 people are expected to come to Warsaw for five days of shooting in mid-June.

Warsaw is expected to have some 25-30 minutes of exposure on the South Korean show. (vb)
