Entitled The Power of Nature, the show features 23 of his works, including two monumental sculptures entitled Oval with Points and Knife Edge Two Pieces.

Five sculptures have been arranged in a spacious park surrounding the main exhibition hall. On display are both figural sculptures, resembling reclining human figures, which are typical of Moore, as well as more abstract ones.

Also on show are works by prominent Polish artists who were inspired by Henry Moore.

Moore’s works have previously been exhibited in Poland in 1959 and 1995.

The Power of Nature remains open in Orońsko until September 9. It will then be showed at the National Museum in Wrocław from September 29 to January 23 and the National Museum in Kraków from February 21 until end of June 2019. (mk/vb)
