The survey found that 57% of Poles believe the internet and new technology negatively affect the quality of interpersonal relations.

Meanwhile, 53% said that such technology interferes in their life too much.

“Although we are often immersed in the digital world of our own free will, we are clearly beginning to feel tired," said the authors of the report, carried out by market researcher GfK Polonia and public relations agency Clue PR.

In the study, 32% of respondents said they had far too many apps on their smartphone, while 33% said they deliberately disabled data transmission from time to time in order to cut themselves off from the internet.

The survey was carried out in April on a nationwide sample of 600 Poles aged 21-50.
