Chance to hear Serge Gainsbourg songs in Polish

A concert featuring Polish-language versions of songs by Serge Gainsbourg will be one of the highlights of the Łódź of Four Cultures Festival in September.

Singer, songwriter and actress Maria Peszek will be among Polish performers interpreting the work of the French bard.
Gainsbourg, who died in 1991, created numerous hits including the heavy-breathing “Je t’aime moi non plus” and found himself at the centre of almost as many scandals.
The Serge Gainsbourg. Songs concert takes place on September 9 at the Musical Theatre in Łódź, central Poland.
The Łódź of Four Cultures Festival, whose name refers to the city’s multi-cultural traditions, runs from September 7 to 16.
