Local journalist Maciej Naskręt, who first reported on the story, said on Twitter: “One [of the seals] was bound in rope and … struck on the head with a blunt instrument.”
The perpetrators of the crime remain unknown. The police has launched an investigation, the daily said.
Seven seals in total have been found dead on Poland's Baltic Sea coast over the last two weeks, Rzeczpospolita reported, adding that evidence suggests all of them were killed by humans.
