Three Poles on Forbes’ young talent list

Three Poles have been included in the 30 Under 30 Europe list compiled by Forbes, an American magazine focusing on finance, marketing, technology, communications, science, politics and law.

The 30 Under 30 Europe list features 300 risk-takers bringing new ideas to Europe in ten categories.

Mateusz Hołda, 26, is a professor at the Jagiellonian University’s Medical College. At 21, he co-founded a research group focusing on understanding the architecture of the human heart. He currently leads an eight-strong research team in projects to map the heart's anatomy in greater detail to help doctors performing surgeries. He is listed in the Science&Health category.

Marek Tomaszkiewicz, 29, is the quest director for the Polish company CD Projekt Red’s role-playing game, Cyberpunk 2077. He was previously lead quest designer for the company’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which shipped 6 million copies in the first six weeks after launch. He is listed in Sports&Games category.

Actor and producer Maciej Musiał, 24, is among 30 up-and-coming talents listed in the Entertainment category.

He co-created and starred in "1983", a television show in which Polish communism never fell. It was sold to Netflix, marking the streaming service's first Polish-language original series. He is also known for his role in the popular Polish TV show "Rodzinka Place" and has co-hosted "The Voice of Poland" since 2013. (mk)
