A CNN ‘Mirror Lake’ installation consisting of 2, 500 mirrors and 850 red glass panels has been mounted in Castle Square, at the entrance to the Old Town of Warsaw.

Eye on Poland – a Country at the Crossroads will be transmitted twice a day until 20 September.

The bulk of the material was filmed by a CNN team in May and June. It will be now enriched with live reports from Warsaw and the Baltic coast, as well as interviews with public figures, such as the President of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz.

The reports will cover major issues of Poland’s political and social scene, business and the economy, the changing face of Warsaw and preparations for the Euro 2012 Football Championships.

‘Eye on Poland’ also invites Poles to submit their own videos, photos and texts on Poland. They will be included on the CNN website and the best will be broadcast on CNN International. (mk/pg)
