According to a report cited in the Puls Biznesu daily, the number of loans for new cars during the first quarter of 2012 has risen by some 28.6 percent compared to the same period a year ago.

Likewise, the money invested in the loans has risen by 25.5 percent.

Meanwhile, it appears that second-hand cars are proving less popular among buyers.

The statistics compiled by the Open Finance business advice company reveal that year on year, the number of loans for used cars has fallen by 14 percent. The overall value of these loans has decreased by 5.5 percent. (nh)
