Report reveals boom in online banking

A report by the Polish Bank Association (ZBP) has revealed that online banking is the fastest growing trend in the country's banks.

According to the report, the number of clients using online banking services is rising at a rate of 10 to 15 percent per year.
The study shows that at present, there are over 10.7 million active individual users of the service.
This figure represents an increase of over 1.1 million users since last year.
Online transactions are increasingly being used as the quickest means of settling bills.
Meanwhile, aside from individual clients, some 1.1 million companies are actively making use of internet banking.
The study is the eight edition of the so-called netB@nk report prepared by ZBP. (nh)
