Witcher 3 release confirmed

The latest instalment in best-selling gaming series The Witcher has been confirmed for release on 24 February 2015.

Warsaw-based gaming company CD Projekt RED has already started pre-release sales of the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and the game will be issued simultaneously in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One formats, as well as for PCs.
There will be both a standard edition and a limited collector's edition, and CEO Adam Kicinski has said that “we allowed our imagination to run truly wild,” with the latter.
The collector's box-set includes a sculpture, a 'wolf medallion' and an art book, among other goodies.
The game series, which is based on fantasy novels by author Andrzej Sapkowski, has proved a huge international success, with the plots taking players on adventures with monster-slayer Geralt.
