Wizz Air announces six new Polish links

Hungary's low cost airline Wizz Air has announced six new links with Poland.

As of 26 October 2014, passengers will be able to fly between Glasgow, Scotland's second city, and Katowice.

Two days later a link between Glasgow and Poznan will also be inaugurated.

Meanwhile, as of 27 October, passengers will be able to make use of new links between the Norwegian city of Bergen and Warsaw's Chopin Airport.

Flights between Szczecin and London Luton will also be inaugurated on 27 October.

Finally, from 28 October, customers will be able to take advantage of two new routes to the Netherlands: to Groningen from Gdansk and to Maastricht from Katowice.

The broadening of Wizz Air's services brings the overall number of Polish connections to 90, taking in 17 countries. (nh)
