Polaris Industries Inc., an American manufacturer of snowmobiles, quads, motorcycles and electric NEVs has opened its first European factory in Opole, Silesia province, south west Poland.

The new factory, situated in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone Invest-Park, covers an area of 33,000 m² and employing up to 500 to produce around 35,000 vehicles annually.
Polaris Industries Inc. had an annual turnover worth 3.7 billion USD in 2013 and plans to also open plants in Japan and India. (pg)
