The Polish office was launched by way of incorporating local real estate firm Park House into the global network. The company's owners signed a 25-year franchise agreement and will now operate as Poland Sotheby's International Realty.

“Expansion across Europe continues our commitment to providing access to the Sotheby’s International Realty network’s exclusive real estate services in key cities around the world,” said Philip White, CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates.

The new affiliate willoperate not only in Warsaw, but also in cities such as Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Lodz and Gdansk. It will cooperate with lender Noble Bank in offering its services.

“The Polish real estate market is unique in that it is focused on a number of key cities with an array of high-end apartments and luxury developments, as well as spacious residences in the surrounding popular suburban towns and villages,” said Arkadiusz Wojciechowski, head of the Polish office.

The residences on offer at Poland Sotheby's International Realty include some of the most luxurious, and expensive, apartments and houses. For example, a house in Podleze near Krakow costs 4.5 million zloty (1.06 million euro) and a five-bedroom apartment in Warsaw's Cosmopolitan building can be purchased for 5.5 million zloty (1.3 million euro).
