Customers are increasingly funding their Christmas spending sprees with loans and installment purchases.
In fact the figure of debt this December could well exceed the record set in 2008, writes daily Rzeczpospolita.
In 2013, banks gave out a total of PLN 70.2 billion in consumer loans, while that figure had already reached PLN 64.8 billion for the first 11 months of this year. (rg)
