The annual Great Place to Work survey found the level of satisfaction with employers largely flat from previous years.

According to the report, 47 percent of Poles employed at a foreign company find it a “great place to work” versus 43 percent for domestically owned firms.

The discrepancy is largely explained by the relative dissatisfaction of employees at state-owned companies. Just a third of public-sector employees say their company is a “great place to work”.

Foreign firms are also seen as more ethical – 56 percent of their employees find them ethically run.

On the other hand, a greater proportion of workers at Polish firms – 48 percent – feel treated by the management as human beings. (an)
