“Poland historically has a very strong presence in game development, especially in triple-A projects for consoles and PC,” Sperasoft CEO Igor Efremov commented, as cited by gaming industry source Develop.

“We would like to tap into this talent pool and feel that opening an office in Krakow will give us access to some extremely gifted developers,” he added.

Polish companies have found international fame thanks to hits such as The Witcher series and most recently The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

Besides offices in America, Sperasoft also has overseas outlets in St. Petersburg and Volgograd, Russia.

“We plan to have a lot of exciting projects for our Kraków office and are now actively hiring in the area,” Efremov enthused. (nh)
