GUS releases employment data

The Central Statistics Office (GUS) has said that in April Polish workers earned an average of PLN 4,123.26 gross.

The data applies to the private enterprise sector .
“In April 2015, average employment in the enterprise sector increased by 1.1 percent y/y, and amounted to 5.575 million. The average monthly gross salary increased by 3.7 percent y/y and amounted to PLN 4,123.26,” GUS wrote in a statement.
The average salary in March stood at PLN 4,214.14. (rg)
