A new anti-tobacco bill, proposed by the Polish Health Ministry, envisions banning sales of e-cigarettes to minors, as well as restrictions in advertising.

The new bill was caused by a need to adapt the Polish legislation to European-Union norms, and it sets out to protect Poles from the dangers of tobacco and e-cigarettes, the Ministry said.
Besides age restrictions, the bill also regulates spaces in which e-cigarettes could be legally used, and establishes a duty of information on the seller – the vendors will have to introduce signs warning against the consequences of e-cigarettes smoking, similar to those informing about the dangers of smoking “traditional cigarettes”.
