The study by Rzetelna Firma found that small businesses employing 10 to 49 people complain most often of difficulties with delayed payments - with retailers, restaurants, caterers and hotels particularly hit.
Maciej Ameljan, the vice-president of Rzetelna Firma, a company that supports firms in building a positive image and solid business credentials, said: “"Non-payment of invoices on time usually does not threaten liquidity in large and stable companies.
“This is not the case with micro and small enterprises, where long delays in payment by clients can severely hit a company’s budget.” (pk)
