“Uber was a great success in Poland. In the first year on the market, when we launched services in five cities, we had a faster growth rate than London, Paris, Amsterdam and Stockholm in our first year of operations,” Winiarczyk explained.

Uber currently operates in Warsaw, Wrocław, the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot conglomeration, Poznań and Kraków. (rg/pk)
