February core inflation at -0.1%: NBP

The net inflation of food and energy prices stood at -0.1 percent in February, according to the National Bank of Poland (NBP).

The figure remained unchanged month-on-month, the central bank said on Wednesday.
The February CPI index, announced by Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) on Tuesday, amounted to -0.8 percent y/y.
Economists at mBank Research tweeted that the “momentum of core inflation in Poland is at its lowest in history”. (rg)
