For 48-72 hours in 193 locations all over the world, thousands of problem solvers are taking part in NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge.

Nine teams consisting of some 40 participants altogether are working hard at Warsaw’s National Stadium to come up with a creative technological solution.

The aim of the competition, its organizers say, is to “solve problems and find solutions for our tech & cultural future,” including space exploration, but also life on Earth.

The competition’s jury will choose two solutions from each location, to be later judged by a group of NASA experts. The best 25 teams will be invited to the grand finals in the US. (ał/nh)
