The average gross Polish wages in the first quarter increased in 2016 over the same period a year previously, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said.

In Q1 2016, the average gross wage amounted to PLN 4,181.49 (EUR 945, USD 1,081) in Poland, GUS said on Wednesday.
In comparison, in Q1 2015, the figure stood at PLN 4,054.89 (EUR 916, USD 1,048). (rg)
