“Within a few months we should see the first changes in the way Polish companies are supported in their international expansion,” Domagalski-Łabędzki said in an interview with Polish Radio on Saturday.

He did not reveal if any existing institution will be incorporated into the new agency.

Reports have indicated that it will replace the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ).

This week, the supervisory board of PAIiIZ dismissed Sławomir Majman as the agency’s head. Majman had held the post since July 2009.

Last year, Deputy Prime Minister and Development Minister Mateusz Morawiecki revealed plans to establish new agencies to promote Polish exports and encourage investment abroad. (ał/pk)
