Speaking at a Polish-Danish Business Forum in Copenhagen, Duda pointed to an ongoing top-level dialogue between the two countries about new infrastructure in the energy sector.

A link connecting Polish and Danish pipelines will allow for a transfer of 10 bln cubic metres of gas annually and help Poland tap into Norway's resources. Polish gas company PGNiG has extraction concessions on the Norwegian shelf.

The Baltic Pipe, one of the EU's priority energy investment projects, is to be completed by 2022.
