Retail sales in Poland rose by 4.6 percent year on year in June, and were 3.2 percent up on May, according to the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS).

Experts consulted by the PAP news agency had expected a 3.7 percent year on year rise on average, and a 2.4 percent increase month on month.
In real terms, retail sales climbed 6.5 percent year on year.
