Polish GDP could grow around 3.5% this year: deputy PM

The Polish economy could grow around 3.5 percent this year as a whole, Deputy Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Thursday.

Morawiecki, who is also development minister, said he believes GDP will grow faster in the second quarter than in the first three months.
"I am convinced that growth will be higher than in the first quarter, when growth was at 3 percent,” Morawiecki told reporters.
“I think that we still have a chance of GDP growth at around 3.5 percent for the whole year," he added. (pk)
