Profits up for Poland’s PKO BP bank

Net profits for Poland’s PKO BP group in the second quarter rose 24.3% to PLN 873.5m (USD 225m, EUR 201m) year on year, the bank has said in a biannual report.

The result was in line with market expectations.

Net profits in the second quarter of 2016 were 36.8% up on the first three months.

State-run PKO BP is Poland's No.1 bank.
