Employment in Polish companies with more than nine staff rose 3.2 percent in September compared to the same month last year.

More than 5.77 million people work for such firms in Poland, according to the country’s Central Statistical Office.
The average gross salary in companies was PLN 4,217 (EUR 977, USD 1,075) a month in September, up 3.9% on the same month last year.
