Deputy environment minister Paweł Sałek, who headed Poland's delegation to COP22, said officials from 200 countries will travel to Poland for the event in 2018.
He added COP24 would impact the Polish economy and be beneficial for hotels and restaurants.
Sałek said Poland had already successfully hosted two UN Climate Change Conferences, COP14 in 2008 in Poznań, in Poland's west, and COP19 in 2013 in Warsaw. (vb/pk)
