Nearly 5 million foreign tourists in Poland this year

Almost five million foreign tourists visited Poland in the first three quarters of this year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported.

In September alone, Poland attracted around 650,000 tourists from abroad.
Foreign visitors spent 12.2 million nights in Poland in the first nine months of the year, according to the Central Statistical Office.
German tourists constituted the largest group among the visitors, at 1.3 million in the first three quarters. (str/pk)
