Dr Irena Eris, a Polish cosmetics manufacturer, expects a 40 percent increase in exports, the daily said.

“This is worth more than PLN 30 million (EUR 6.7 mln),” the company’s CEO Henryk Orfinger told the daily.

“The Middle East and North Africa are largely responsible for this growth but sales have also increased in Ukraine and Belarus,” he added. The Dr Irena Eris brand is available in nearly 50 countries worldwide.

Another Polish producer, Miraculum – the company behind the Pani Walewska brand – expects a 30 percent growth in exports in 2016.

Miraculum CEO Monika Nowakowska said the company had strong sales in Eastern Europe and also sees potential in Latin America and North Africa. (vb/pk)
