“The Polish and German economies exist in symbiosis, with a trade turnover of EUR 100 billion. Few people know that this is more than, for example, the trade between Germany and Russia. Our economy is more important for Germany than that of Russia,” Waszczykowski told Polish Radio on Tuesday.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is to visit Poland for talks at the invitation of Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło.

“There are many bilateral issues that we want to raise during the visit by German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Poland. There are also, of course, European issues. I will not disclose any secrets if I say that we will talk about the migration crisis, climate, defence policy and Brexit,” Waszczykowski said. (rg)
