Inflation in Poland hit 2.2 percent year on year in February, the Central Statistical Office said on Tuesday.

The prices of goods and services were 0.3 percent up on the previous month.
In January, the prices of goods and services in Poland rose 1.8 percent compared to the same month last year.
At the end of December, year-on-year inflation stood at 0.8 percent.
Prices in January were 0.4 percent up on December 2016.
The Polish central bank (NBP) said in a forecast released on Monday that inflation was expected to increase, but would not exceed 2.5 percent by the end of 2019.
