Nearly 60% of Poland’s SMEs innovative: survey

Almost six in ten small and medium-sized enterprises in Poland innovated in one way or another last year, a survey has found.

Most of these businesses embraced innovation to improve their products and manufacturing processes, according to the survey by pollster Kantar Millward Brown.
Almost 38 percent of such innovations involved bringing to market new or significantly improved products or services; nearly 33 percent saw the introduction of new or significantly improved production methods or technology, according to the survey.
The study was conducted in March and April on a sample of 251 industrial businesses across the country.
