Polish Radio teaming up with Shanghai Media Group

Media bosses from Shanghai visited Polish Radio on Thursday ahead of a planned Polish-Chinese team-up.
Polish Radio Vice President Mariusz Staniszewski; Love Radio Shanghai director Chen You Li; and David Ming Zhang, Love Radio Shanghai music director.
Chen You Li, director of Love Radio Shanghai, and David Ming Zhang, its music director, discussed, among other things, a “Polish week” on Love Radio Shanghai, which could be aired this August.
Love Radio Shanghai is part of the Shanghai Media Group, a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
Several days ago, Polish public TV broadcaster TVP signed a deal with China’s Chengdu Radio and Television broadcaster.
The team-up will see a documentary being made on China’s “New Silk Road” initiative and its impact on China’s relationship with Poland and Europe.
In January, music released by Polish Radio could be heard in the south-western Chinese province of Sichuan, following a team-up between Polish Radio and SRT, the Radio and Television Group of Sichuan province.
