The companies taking part want to directly contribute to stronger cooperation between the US and Poland across a range of key industries, from health care to energy and defence, the US-Poland Business Council said in a statement.
“Our goal this week is to work with the Government of Poland to ensure our countries continually build on the economic pillar of our alliance,” said Eric Stewart, President of the USPBC.
The US ambassador to Poland, Paul Jones, will host a reception in honor of the visit and to promote closer economic ties between the United States and Poland, the Business Council added.
Among the 16 companies taking part in the mission are Coca-Cola, Bell Helicopter and defence contractor Raytheon.
