In the first quarter, Poland’s GDP grew 4.0 percent year on year.
The chief economist of Poland’s Bank Pocztowy, Monika Kurtek, said the latest result is in line with what analysts expected.
She added that the slowdown in growth is minor and that the Polish economy is in good shape.
Kurtek said Poland was making more use of EU funds, which was likely to be reflected in investment figures.
