Morawiecki added that the government's campaign to fight tax evasion will see some PLN 20 billion (EUR 4.7 billion) more in Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue this year.

According to a Friday report, after the first seven months of the year, there is a budget surplus of PLN 2.4 billion, while revenue from VAT was nearly 25 percent greater than in the same period last year. (vb/pk)
