The figure confirms a flash estimate by the office earlier this month.

In the first quarter, Poland’s GDP grew 4.0% year on year.

Central Statistical Office chief Dominik Rozkrut said that the first half of the year saw the economy grow 4% compared to the same period in 2016.

According to many analysts, the high level of GDP growth in the first six months of 2017 indicates that the economy will expand around 4% over the whole year.
