During his two-day trip to the United States, Morawiecki, who is also Poland’s minister for finance and development, plans to talk about both existing and new American investment projects in Poland.

Morawiecki has told Poland’s PAP news agency that his priority during the trip will be to "present the situation in Poland in its true light, not in a distorted mirror."

He wants to meet with influential business media outlets such as Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance. He is also expected to be interviewed by Fox News.

Before the trip, his aides said Morawiecki would seek to promote Poland as a strong, modern and dynamically developing economy and a country with stable financial and macroeconomic fundamentals.

A key purpose of the trip is to strengthen Poland’s positive image in the United States, officials have added.

While in New York, Morawiecki is also expected to meet members of the Polish and Jewish communities in the US. (gs/pk)
