Polish industrial production, retail sales rise: stats office

Industrial production in Poland shot up 12.3 percent in October compared with the same month last year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Monday.

Meanwhile, retail sales increased 7.1 percent year-on-year in October, according to the statistical office.
In September, industrial production in Poland was 4.3 percent higher than a year earlier, and retail sales were 7.5 percent up on the same month last year, according to the office.
