Inflation in Poland at 2% in November: Eurostat

Inflation rose 2.0% in Poland in November year on year, according to Eurostat, the EU’s statistics agency.

Eurostat, giving figures measured by the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), added that inflation in Poland rose 1.6% in Poland in October.

Using a different methodology, Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said last week that in Consumer Price Index (CPI) terms, inflation rose to 2.5% year-on-year in November.

In October, the prices of goods and services rose 2.1% compared to the same month last year. Inflation stood at 2.2% year-on-year in September, 1.8% in August, 1.7% in July, and 1.5% in June, according to Poland’s Central Statistical Office.
