Polish inflation at 1.9% in January

Inflation in Poland fell to 1.9% year-on-year in January, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Thursday in a flash estimate.

Annual inflation in December stood at 2.1%, according to the office.

In November, the prices of goods and services in Poland rose 2.5% compared to the same month a year earlier.

Inflation stood at 2.1% year-on-year in October, 2.2% in September, 1.8% in August, 1.7% in July, and 1.5% in June.
