Polish retail sales, industrial production rise: stats office

Retail sales in Poland rose 8.2 percent year-on-year in January in current prices, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday.

In constant prices, adjusted for the effects of inflation, sales increased 7.7 percent.
Meanwhile, industrial production in Poland grew 8.6 percent in January compared with the same month last year, the statistical office said.
