The reading confirmed an estimate earlier this month by Poland’s labour minister and was the lowest figure for January since 1992.
Joblessness in Poland fell to 6.5 percent in November, the lowest in the last 25 years, while October’s reading was 6.6 percent, according to the statistical office.
