Poland is next week expected to sign a deal for the supply of a system that is to be the basis of the country’s Wisła mid-range air defence programme, the PAP news agency reported.

On Friday in Warsaw, the Polish defence ministry signed agreements with US firms Lockheed Martin Global Inc and the Raytheon Company.

Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak has previously said that Warsaw would sign a deal with the United States for the supply of Patriot missile defence systems by the end of this month.
