The study took into account opinions voiced during public consultations, in-depth interviews and questionnaires completed by 1,386 people in October and November.
The survey was carried out as part of a project called Together for Health, bringing together a patients’ group, doctors, nurses and pharmacists.
The project is financed by the European Union.
The report found that 68 percent of Polish patients use both public healthcare services and private healthcare.
