Polish inflation at 1.3% in March: stats office

Inflation in Poland decelerated to 1.3% year-on-year in March from 1.4% in February, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Friday.

The reading was in line with a flash estimate released by the office earlier this month.
Inflation in January stood at 1.9% in year-on-year terms, according to the office.
In December last year, the prices of consumer goods and services in Poland rose 2.1% compared with the same month a year earlier.
